The Nene Toys vision is simple: our founders wanted to share the types of toys they wanted their own kids to play with. After all, who doesn’t have a cherished childhood memory of putting things together, pulling them apart, and seeing the world upside down and inside out? In a world where screens are quickly and constantly accessible, there’s nothing more impactful on kids’ development than engaging their growing minds and igniting all of their senses—touch, smell, sight, hearing, and yes, even taste (don’t worry folks, our toys are 100% non-toxic and curiosity-safe).
As kids age, learning often becomes centered around rigid structures and stressful exams. For many of us, it stays that way for the rest of our lives. It becomes more about repeating and memorizing than dreaming and exploring. In a word, boring.
